Our story
Discover our story from 1945 to the present
Jan Daniluk opened the first optical shop in post-war Wrocław.
Jan Daniluk moves his optical shop to Kuźnicza Street in Wrocław. He increases production with a self-built injection molding machine. Soon, his sons Krzysztof and Waldemar join him, learning the craft under their father’s guidance and earning the title of Master Optician. Waldemar continues to run the shop to this day.
Krzysztof Daniluk, together with his wife Elżbieta, founded the company Dekoptica, which specializes in the production of eyewear frames.
The company rapidly expands, enters new foreign markets, and relocates its production facility to a larger new headquarters.
Another generation joins Krzysztof and Elżbieta – their daughter Ewa Doleczek. Her artistic sense and passion for fashion bring a breath of fresh air to the eyewear collection, making it more modern, trendy, and colorful. As a result, we expand our own design team.
Krzysztof Daniluk receives the KRIO award for his extraordinary contribution to the development of the optical industry in Poland. This is also an important moment for us, marking the expansion of the headquarters, which enabled the growth of our production facilities.
Dekoptica presents its products for the first time at the MIDO fair in Milan. As the only company, it showcases eyewear made in Poland.
Dekoptica is 40 years of nurturing tradition and embracing modern solutions. We are expanding our machine park with modern 5-axis CNC machines, enabling us to precisely manufacture even the most advanced designs.
The creation of the Nénu Eyewear brand and three awards won at MTP.
A year of major development investments. We are implementing our growth strategy as a distributor, which involves introducing new brands to our offer and investing in customer service standards.
